The Kindred Spirit Band are really taking off in 2016, having been "discovered" by the wider Prog Rock world in April and being featured in the Classic Rock Society magazine. This has already lead to global album distribution and offers of some great gigs for 2017 already.
The Kindred Spirit Band sound is special and distinctive, featuring two, more unusual lead instruments for prog rock and laced with jigs, reels and duelling improvisations.
The band also feature Elaine Samuels' beautiful vocals, powerful, "perceptive and intriguing" songs and guitar work, exciting new band member Martin Ash's thrilling and beautiful violin playing, Catherine Dimmock's or Emily Nash's expert flute & saxophone playing, Mike Hislop's driving bass rhythms, lovely harmony vocals from Catherine or Emily and one of three great drummers! They play with either legendary (ex Judas Priest, Roger Glover and many other famous names) drummer, Les Binks, excellent, young, drum professional, Chris Goode (who is also a super keyboard player) or seasoned drumming professional, Alan Barwise.
